Price

Yes, in general the prices you get on the card and via the app are the same.

However, there may be situations where the price differs between the two types of Rejsekort. The reason is that with Rejsekort as a card you pay from the check-in time, while with Rejsekort as an app you pay from the scheduled departure time.

If you believe you should have received a discount on your journey, you can contact Rejsekort Customer Service by calling tel. +45 70 11 33 33. Press 3 for Rejsekort, and then 2 for Rejsekort as an app. You can also write to us in the app via the contact form under 'Your journey' in the travel history.

Please note that Rejsekort as an app does not yet provide discounts for travellers who need to be assessed for a discount. This will become available in later versions of the app.

Payment

In Rejsekort as a app, it is only possible to pay with MobilePay. At a later stage, it will be possible to pay with a credit card.

Once a day, you pay the total price for all the day's journeys. You can see all your journeys with their prices in your travel history.

As soon as the journey is completed, the price of the journey is registered on an invoice, which is sent to you once a day via email. Note that the payment may occur the day after the trip has taken place.

If the payment cannot be completed, the account will be suspended, and it will not be possible to check in until the payment has gone through.

If the payment has not gone through via MobilePay, it may be necessary to reactivate MobilePay in Rejsekort as an app.

In Rejsekort as an app, it is only possible to pay with MobilePay. Payment with other payment methods (e.g. credit cards) will become available later.
Please make sure you have the latest version of both Rejsekort as an app and Mobilepay installed.

If you still experiencing the issue, please uninstall your Mobilepay app and install it again. You should then be able to add Mobilepay as a payment option in Rejsekort as an app.

Yes, you can. In connection with your travels, you will receive a daily calculation of the cost of your trips. The invoice is sent to the email address you provided when you first logged into the app.

If you do not wish to receive a daily invoice, you can unsubscribe from the function under Customer Center/Rejsekort as an app/Questions regarding payment. Here, you fill out the contact form with your request to opt out of daily invoicing.

Please note that it may take up to 10 business days for the function to be fully disabled.

Discount

Are you traveling on Funen or in Jutland and have you earned discount points on Rejsekort as a card? Then you can now transfer your earned discount points from Rejsekort as a card to Rejsekort as an app.

The discount is only given for travel west of Storebælt and is not automatically transferred from Rejsekort as a card to Rejsekort as an app. 

Transfer your earned discount levels

To transfer earned discount points from card to app, make sure your app is updated to the latest version. You can check this in Google Play and App Store.

For the latest version of Rejsekort as an app, you can transfer earned discount points from card to app in the menu item 'Discounts' and select 'Volume discount'. Then click on the plus icon and enter your 16-digit Rejsekort number. 

Your discount level will now be transferred and you can travel with the same discount as you did with your Rejsekort as a card. You can transfer your discount level once. If you have earned a higher discount level in the app than you have on the card, the higher discount level will apply. 

You can see your discount level for Rejsekort as a card in self-service at rejsekort.dk and see your discount level for Rejsekort as an app in the app under 'Discount'.

In the app, volume discounts are calculated on a monthly basis and are calculated at the end of the month. We use the highest discount level you have achieved in the previous three months to calculate your discount level.

Yes, you earn a volume discount in (almost) the same way as with Rejsekort as a card.

The volume discount is calculated at the end of the month in the app, whereas it is calculated individually for each Rejsekort as a card. The volume discount is calculated each month based on the highest discount level you have achieved in the previous three months.

Which discount level do I start on?

You start at level 0 when you begin using the app. Your discount level will be adjusted during the first calculation of the volume discount.

Transferring earned volume discount to Rejsekort as an app

The earned volume discount on Rejsekort as a card is not automatically transferred to Rejsekort as an app. If you have earned a volume discount on Rejsekort as a card and want to transfer it to the app, you can do as follows:

  1. After your first trip in zones eligible for earning a loyalty discount, you will receive a notification with a link to directly transfer the earned discount. Here, you enter your 16-digit Rejsekort number and click Send. The volume discount will then be transferred to the app, and you can use the earned discount on your trips. At the same time, your discount level will be adjusted to the correct level.
  2. You can also select Discounts/Volume Discount in the menu of the app. Click on the circle with a plus sign in the top right corner. Here, you enter your 16-digit Rejsekort number and click Send. The volume discount will then be transferred to the app, and you can use the earned discount on your trips. At the same time, your discount level will be adjusted to the correct level.

Please note that you can only transfer your volume discount once. If you continue to use Rejsekort as a card after the transfer, no further earned volume discount will be transferred to the app.

The discount for travelling outside rush hours will be calculated based on the scheduled departure time of the means of transport instead of your check-in time. If there are delays, it may affect whether you receive the discount.
