Pricing and payment

Price

Yes, generally you will pay the same prices when using both the card and the app for your journeys.

However, there may be situations where there are differences in the price between the two types of Rejsekort. This is because with the Rejsekort as a card, you are charged from the moment you check in, whereas with Rejsekort as an app, you are charged based on the scheduled departure time, which may, for example, be delayed.

If you believe you should have received a discount on your trip, you can contact the Rejsekort Customer Center by calling +45 70 11 33 33.

First press 3 for Rejsekort, and then press 2 for Rejsekort as an app.

You can also write to us in the app via the contact form found under each journey in the Travel History. You can find it by clicking on the three horizontal lines in the top left corner and selecting Travel History. Click on the trip you wish to review.

Please note that Rejsekort as an app does not yet offer discounts to certain groups, such as those requiring special discounts. This will be available in later versions of the app.

Payment

In Rejsekort as an app, it is possible to pay with MobilePay and the following payment cards:

- Dankort
- Visa
- Visa Electron
- Mastercard
- ApplePay
- Amex

You will be charged once per day for that day’s journeys. If you're unsure which journeys are included and what the price of each journey is, you can view all your trips in the Travel History. You can find this in the app by clicking on the three horizontal lines in the top left corner.

You can unsubscribe from the daily invoice email under Settings. You can find this in the app by clicking on the three horizontal lines in the top left corner. Select Account when you are in Settings.

If the payment cannot be processed, the account will be blocked, and it will not be possible to check in until the payment has gone through.

If the payment did not go through via MobilePay, it may be necessary to reactivate MobilePay in the Rejsekort app. You can also choose to add another payment method to complete the payment.
You can add both MobilePay and a selection of credit cards to Rejsekort as an app. This means that it is possible to use the Rejsekort app even if you prefer not to use MobilePay.

To link a credit card to your payment agreement, you need to select ‘Credit Card’ during the profile setup and follow the instructions. It’s easy and only takes a moment.

You can also add a credit card after setting up your profile. To do this, click on the three horizontal lines in the top left corner of the app. Select Payment and add the payment method you want. Please note that you will need to use MitID.

You can use the following credit cards in the Rejsekort app:

- Dankort
- Visa
- Visa Electron
- Mastercard
- ApplePay
- Amex

With the option to link credit cards, we hope to meet the wishes of more users by making it easier to choose the Rejsekort app.
If you are unable to add MobilePay, you can choose to add a payment card instead. You can do this under Payment, the same place where you can add MobilePay.

You should also ensure that you have the latest version of both Rejsekort as an app and the MobilePay app installed on your phone.

If you still cannot add MobilePay, you should uninstall the MobilePay app and reinstall it. After this, you should be able to add MobilePay to Rejsekort as an app without any issues.

Yes, you can. In connection with your travels, you will receive a daily calculation of the cost of your trips. The invoice is sent to the email address you provided when you first logged into the app.

If you do not wish to receive a daily invoice, you can unsubscribe from the function under Customer Center/Rejsekort as an app/Questions regarding payment. Here, you fill out the contact form with your request to opt out of daily invoicing.

Please note that it may take up to 10 business days for the function to be fully disabled.

Discount

Are you traveling on Funen or in Jutland and have you earned discount points on Rejsekort as a card? Then you can now transfer your earned discount points from Rejsekort as a card to Rejsekort as an app.

The discount is only given for travel west of Storebælt and is not automatically transferred from Rejsekort as a card to Rejsekort as an app. 

Transfer your earned discount levels

To transfer earned discount points from card to app, make sure your app is updated to the latest version. You can check this in Google Play and App Store.

For the latest version of Rejsekort as an app, you can transfer earned discount points from card to app in the menu item 'Discounts' and select 'Volume discount'. Then click on the plus icon and enter your 16-digit Rejsekort number. 

Your discount level will now be transferred and you can travel with the same discount as you did with your Rejsekort as a card. You can transfer your discount level once. If you have earned a higher discount level in the app than you have on the card, the higher discount level will apply. 

You can see your discount level for Rejsekort as a card in self-service at rejsekort.dk and see your discount level for Rejsekort as an app in the app under 'Discount'.

In the app, volume discounts are calculated on a monthly basis and are calculated at the end of the month. We use the highest discount level you have achieved in the previous three months to calculate your discount level.
Yes, you earn volume discounts in (almost) the same way as with Rejsekort as a card.

The volume discount is calculated at the end of the month in the app, whereas it is calculated individually for each Rejsekort when using the physical card.

The volume discount is calculated each month based on the highest discount level you have achieved in the previous three months.

What discount level do I start at?

When you start using the app, you begin at level 0. Your discount level will be adjusted at the first volume discount calculation. The highest discount level you have achieved within the previous three months is always used to calculate your discount. This means that the travel activity you have in the current month will not be included in your discount calculation until the next month.

If you have earned a volume discount on Rejsekort as a card, it will not be automatically transferred to Rejsekort as an app. If you wish to transfer the earned volume discount to the app, you can do so as follows:

After your first journey in zones where volume discounts can be earned, you will receive a notification with a direct link to transfer the earned discount. Here, you enter your 16-digit Rejsekort number and click on "Send." The volume discount will then be transferred to the app, and you can use the earned discount on your journeys.

You can also go to the menu in the app and select Discounts/Volume Discount. In the upper right corner, a circle with a plus sign will appear. Click on it, enter your 16-digit Rejsekort number, and click "Send." The volume discount will then be transferred to the app, and you can use the earned discount on your journeys.

Please note that you can only transfer your volume discount once. If you continue to use the physical Rejsekort after the transfer, any further earned volume discount will not be transferred to the app.
When you travel outside of peak hours, for example with Rejsekort Youth or Rejsekort Senior, you may receive a discount on your fare.

With Rejsekort as an app, your journey start time is recorded when you check in. If your transport is delayed and departs during peak hours instead of off-peak hours, this may affect whether you receive your discount.

However, the discount should be calculated based on the scheduled departure time, not the actual one. If such a situation occurs, please contact the Rejsekort Customer Center at +45 70 11 33 33.
