Allow notifications from Rejsekort as an app and get reminders to check out
If you sometimes forget to check out when traveling by public transport, Smart check out can remind you. To use Smart check out, it's important to allow notifications when using Rejsekort as an app.
How to Set Notifications in Rejsekort as an App
Open Rejsekort as an app and select Settings. Here, you will find Notifications. If you choose "Enabled," Rejsekort as an app can send you reminders to check out as well as a price overview of your journey. We recommend that you allow notifications from the app - that way, you will receive a notification on your phone if you forget to check out.
Let Rejsekort as an app check you out automatically with Smart check out
When you have Smart check out enabled, Rejsekort as an app can also automatically end your journey for you. The app sends you a notification on your mobile within 10-30 minutes after you have stopped using public transport. This gives you the opportunity to choose between ending or continuing your journey. If you forget to end your journey manually, Smart check out will automatically check you out.
How to Enable Smart Check Out
1. Enable Smart check out in Rejsekort as an app. You do this by going to Menu > Settings > Travel. Select enable Smart check out.
2. Check in by swiping right in the app.
3. As soon as the app detects that you are no longer using public transport, it will send you a notification.
4. If you want to continue your journey, you can click "continue journey" within 5 minutes of receiving the notification on your phone.
5. If you do nothing, the app will end the journey for you via Smart check out.
When is Smart check out triggered?
Smart check out is triggered when the app identifies that you are no longer traveling by public transport. After this, an automatic check-out process is initiated, which you can manually interrupt if you are still traveling.
